I know I have not posted anything for quite a while, and unfortunately it does not look like I will be posting anything for a bit longer.
I have decided to take a break from blogging and deal with some personal issues. Those of you who are my coworkers know the stress we have been under with the whole COVID situation, but what many of you don’t know is that the stress and some other personal issues have lead me down a path where depression is now may normal state of mind.
Unfortunately the depression has robbed me of the joy I used to feel when cooking, so I no longer find comfort in the comfort food I make. I know there is a stigma attached to mental health issues, but thankfully my employer offers some free counseling sessions as part of our benefits and I will be taking advantage of those. I encourage anyone else who is feeling the same to also take advantage of counseling.
The blog will stay up and I hope you continue to enjoy the recipes I have posted. Hopefully I will return and share more in the near future.
